I believe that 2019 will be a year, not of resolutions but of Resolution.
Our Christian faith will be tested: We will be tested from within the ranks of Christendom, to accept a more popular and palatable gospel. We will be tested by societal and ideological pressures and persecution. And we will be tested as well directly from the demonic realm.
There will be increasing separation in the ranks of Christians, between those who move primarily with the currents of culture and those who are moved and strengthened by the Spirit to remain true to Christ and the full and true Gospel. This will be a year when we must use our “resolve muscle”.
We must RESOLVE to stay true to Jesus and the Word of God, no matter what. Jesus said that, “he who endures to the end will be saved.”
